Beverly Ann Dunning Kenney, age 71, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, the 4th of June, 2025. She was born on Thursday, September 3, 1953, in Paducah to Henry and Lucille Dunning. Beverly's infectious smile and generous heart left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. A graduate of Draughons Business College, Beverly brought both her skilled professionalism and warm personality to Lynx Services, where she dedicated many fulfilling years before her well-deserved retirement.
A people person at her core, Beverly thrived on the connections she made with others. She was an active and cherished member of the Heartland Church community, where she cultivated lifelong friendships and embodied the very essence of service and fellowship. Beverly's faith was not just a belief system; it was a living, breathing part of her daily life, expressed through her actions and her unwavering commitment to her church family.
Family was Beverly's most treasured aspect of life. Her love for her relatives knew no bounds, and her eyes would light up at the mention of a family gathering or the simple joy of spending time with those she held dear. Her thoughtfulness ensured that every birthday, holiday, and milestone was celebrated with her special touch.
Beverly's legacy will be fondly remembered and deeply missed. She was a guiding light, a warm embrace in times of need, and a joyous participant in times of celebration. Ms. Kenney is survived by her sons, Willard Deon Doughty ( Rachel Johnston) of Gilbert, Arizona, and Henry Dunning Doughty (Keisha) of Marshall County, Kentucky; her sister, Karol Kay Dunning; her grandchildren, Hudson, Miller, and Arwen Doughty.
Ms. Kenney was preceded in death by her parents, Henry William Dunning and Lucille Catherine Weber Dunning; her sisters, Patsy Snow and Josephine Dean; and her brother, Henry Dunning.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Jeremy Short officiating. Burial will follow at Pell Cemetery in Brookport, Illinois.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Thursday, June 12, 2025, at the funeral home.
