Beverly Jean Edwards. 93 of Paducah, passed away at 12:58 PM Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Rivercrest Place in Paducah.
Beverly was a devoted wife, wonderful mom and attentive grandmother; she was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and helped serve on the committee that formed Grace United Methodist Church in LaCenter, KY; she retired after 24 years from Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah as a registered dietician, and she loved helping people improve their health through diet and nutrition; she graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Home Economics/Food Science; she loved golf, playing bridge and volunteering anywhere she could.
Beverly is survived by a son, Mark (Tammie) Edwards of Paducah; a daughter, Dawn (Doug) Carroll of Paducah; two sisters, Patsy King of Mesa, AZ & Nancy Romine of Lexington, AL; four grandchildren, Tyler Edwards, Austin Edwards, Mallory (John) McCormick & Logan (Jordan) Carroll; four great-grandchildren, Britton Edwards, Keelan Edwards, Hallie McCormick & Ella McCormick along with several nieces & nephews.
Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, James Hilton Edwards; her parents, Harry Allen & Bernece A. Young Hines; two sisters, Marilyn Peck & Carolyn Hines; one brother, Rodney Hines & one grandson, Ryan Edwards.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Mt. Kenton Cemetery in Paducah with Rev. David Garrett officiating. There will be no visitation. Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
