Billy H. Farris

Billy H. Farris, age 84, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 12:57 A.M. Friday, August 12, 2022 at River Haven Nursing & Rehabilitation.

Billy was born in Paducah on Saturday, April 16, 1938 to Jewell and Jane Farris. He worked as a boilermaker and was a nuclear certified welder for Chicago Bridge and Iron. He was a hard worker and enjoyed golf and fishing.

Mr. Farris is survived by his wife of 54 years, Frances Carolyn Nanney Farris; his son, Cecil Darren Farris of Gardner, Illinois; his grandchildren, Katelyn Farris, Kyla Meints and Kalsie Urbasek; his great grandchildren, Lyla and Claire Meints.

Mr. Farris was preceded in death by his parents, Jewell Allen Farris and Jane Odem Farris; his sister, Thelma Clark; his brothers, Darrell Farris and Edward Farris.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Monday, August 15, 2022 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Mike Peters officiating. Burial will follow at Owens Chapel Cemetery in Melber, Kentucky.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. Monday, August 15, 2022 at the funeral home.
