Carl Page, Jr., age 85, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on July 21, 2026, at Parkview Nursing Home surrounded by family and friends. He was greeted in Heaven by his fellow members of “The Hallmarks Quartet”, where they are reunited again.
Carl was born in Paducah, Kentucky, on August 10, 1940, to Mary Stapleton Page and Carl Page, Sr. He attended Paducah Tilghman High School and was a 1959 graduate of Lone Oak High School. While in high school, Carl was a multi-sport athlete excelling at baseball, basketball, and football. His baseball career continued after high school when he played catcher for the Paducah Chiefs. Carl had a deep passion for sports and loved to cheer on the University of Kentucky Wildcats. In 1959, Carl married his wife of 50 years, Ella Joan Page. They had two sons, Chris Page and Tim Page.
Upon graduation from high school, Carl began his working career in industrial sales. Carl was employed by Ohio Valley Supply & Henry A. Petter Supply for fifty-plus years. While at Petters, Carl created and managed the Marine Division, which catered to the region's barge lines. Carl’s high level of customer care, people skills, and product knowledge led to much success for the division and still resonates with the company to this day.
One of Carl’s passions was Southern Gospel Music. Carl was one of the founding members of the “New Crusaders Quartet” and, more notably, “The Hallmarks Quartet”. He travelled the United States and much of Canada, sharing the gospel through music in their bus “Big Bertha”. Carl’s tenor voice was considered one of the best in the area.
Carl was a great father to his family and caregiver to his late wife, Joan, as well as a loving grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a former member of Heartland Church and a current member of Reidland Baptist Church.
Carl is survived by his wife, Pat Pitchford Page of Paducah; son Tim (Jill) Page of Paducah; daughter-in-law Sharmin Page of Paducah; step-daughters Sherry (Tom) Adams of Murray and Beth (Mike) Bell of Owensboro; step-son Randy (Deeayne) Mayfield of Owensboro; sister Shirley Stewart of Paducah; half-brother Wayne (Judy) Stapleton of Paducah; granddaughters Emily Page (Matt) Angerer and Erika Page; step-grandchildren Wes (Allison) Adams, Rachel (Travis) Gage, Parker Adams, Kristen (Sage) Griffin, Dallas Bell, Garrett Mayfield and Hallie Mayfield; great-grandson Cooper Thomas Angerer and great-granddaughter Oakleigh Cline; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joan Lawrence Page; a son, Chris Page; granddaughter, Hillary Page Cline; half-brother Rex Stapleton; and his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Rob Ison and Rev. Brad White officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the service time of 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
