Carmen Flores Hambrick, age 73, of Bardwell, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Center in Paducah.

Carmen was born on January 6, 1949 in Hutchinson, Kansas.  She was a self-employed landscaper. Carmen loved to be outdoors and enjoyed fishing in her free time.  she was also and incredible artistic talent who loved to paint animal and wildlife portraits.  Carmen had a caring and giving spirit, especially for animals.  She would frequently shelter and adopt animals in need, including several dogs and cats.    
Carmen is survived by two sisters, Terry Phillips (David) of Benton and Rita McKinney (Harold) of Mayfield; three brothers, Danny Flores of Union City, Tennessee, Mike Flores (Crystal) of Falkner, Mississippi, and Jerry Flores of Mayfield; and several nieces and nephews.
 She is proceeded in death by her husband, David Hambrick; her son, Search Massey, III; and by her parents, Charley and Lucille Upton Flores

 A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell with David Phillips and Earnest Phillips officiating.

 Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 12:00 pm until the service time of 2:00 pm at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell.
