Cecilia Margaret Frances Starr, age 77, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026, at Sherbrooke Nursing Home in St. Louis, Missouri.
Cecilia was born on March 19, 1948, in Denver, Colorado, and was proud to call Wickliffe, Kentucky her hometown. She spent her life devoted to her family, her work, and the simple joys that brought her happiness.
She worked for many years at Indian Hills Convenient Store and Town & Country, where she was known for her kindness, warm smile, and the way she made everyone feel welcome. Cecilia was truly one of the nicest people you could ever meet, always caring for others before herself.
Her greatest joy in life was her family. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Tracie Hafford, and son-in-law, Carl Hafford; and her cherished granddaughters, Dorian and Sophia Hafford, who meant the world to her. She adored spending time with them and created many special memories together.
Cecilia loved taking road trips, enjoying the beauty of nature, and especially watching birds and hummingbirds. These simple pleasures brought her peace and happiness throughout her life.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her gentle spirit, loving heart, and kind soul will never be forgotten.
Cecilia is survived by her daughter, Tracie (Carl) Hafford; and two granddaughters, Dorian and Sophia Hafford.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Jeffery Starr; and her parents, John and Fern Roebuck.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe, with Lance Aldridge officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery, in Wickliffe, Kentucky.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the service time of 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe.
