Charlotte Owens, 73, of Cunningham, Kentucky, passed away at her residence on December, 29, 2025. She was born on July 12, 1952, to the late Charles and Eva Lou Masters.

Charlotte was a remarkable woman whose determination set her apart. She was the only woman to retire from the Maintenance Department at USEC, a role she approached with grit, pride, and perseverance. Her work ethic and toughness earned her lasting respect from coworkers and friends alike.

Charlotte was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, the Eastern Star, and the Quilting Sisters. She especially enjoyed traveling for quilting events, where she combined her love of creativity with time spent with friends. She had a true appreciation for beauty and creativity. She loved traveling—especially trips to the beach—and found joy in remodeling, interior decorating, and flowers. Her talents were evident in everything she touched.

Above all, Charlotte was devoted to her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and a loving sister. She was a kind and dependable neighbor and a friend to many. Known for her friendly spirit, giving nature, and constant smile, she had a heart as big as her love. Some of her most treasured moments were spent playing with her granddaughter, who brought her endless joy.

Charlotte will be remembered for her strength, compassion, and the love she shared so freely. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched.

Charlotte is survived by her husband of 44 years, Jimmy Dale Owens; one son, Brad Copeland of Cunningham, Kentucky; two sisters, Nancy DeJarnatt of Cunningham and Janene (Mike) Hammonds of Cunningham; two grandchildren, Jane Elaine Copeland and Peyton Duncan; one uncle, Leon (Janet) Masters; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
