Clifton “Cliff” E. McReynolds, known affectionately as Cliff to his friends and family, was a lifelong native of Kentucky, born in Boaz on August 24, 1940. He had the fortune of celebrating 85 full years before passing on Sunday, August 31, 2025, in the comfort of his home in West Paducah, where he had lived, worked, and loved for many years.
As a savvy businessman and a friend to the community, Cliff made a name for himself as the owner of West Paducah Glass since 1972. His dedication to his work was matched only by his unwavering commitment to his family. As a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Cliff instilled values of hard work and integrity in all those he touched. Cliff's interests outside of work revealed the simple joys that he treasured. A fan of the University of Kentucky basketball team, he relished the thrill of the game and the unity it brought with every moment. His passion for classic cars was unmistakable, particularly his love for Ford Thunderbird classics, a love which he could discuss at length and with enthusiasm. His annual trips to the Pigeon Forge Truck Show were not merely routine, but something to let him connect with other enthusiasts.
Cliff is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Joy Tippet McReynolds of West Paducah. Kentucky; a daughter, Kim (Alan) Youngblood of West Paducah, Kentucky; two sons, Kevin (Karrie) McReynolds of Kevil, Kentucky, and Keith (Kimmy) McReynolds of Wickliffe, Kentucky; nine grandchildren, Whitney (Jesse) O’Donley, Kyle (Tori) Crass, Trevor McReynolds, Kalee Locke, Ty (Ashley) Youngblood, Hadyn Youngblood, Ty McReynolds, Wyatt McReynolds, and Kyler McReynolds; four great-grandchildren, Anslee O’Donley, Aiden O’Donley, Shepard Locke, and Bennett Locke; and three brothers, Leonard McReynolds of Rye, Colorado, Curtis McReynolds of Paducah, Kentucky, and Lonnie (Joan) McReynolds of Paducah, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Namon and Mary Nelson McReynolds, and two sister-in-laws, Kay McReynolds and Deloris McReynolds.
