Cynthia Ford Rodgers, 76, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Passion & Purpose in Almo, Kentucky.
Cindy lived through both hardship and beautiful moments with a strength that seemed endless. She carried love, wisdom, humor, stubbornness, kindness, and grace through every chapter of her life. She was a mother not only to her children, but to so many of us who needed her warmth, guidance, and comfort. She was more than a grandmother. She was a second mom, a safe place, and someone whose love shaped so many. There are no words big enough for the space she leaves behind. She will be unbelievably missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. While our hearts are broken, there is peace in knowing she is no longer suffering and has finally reached God’s Kingdom. For a time, Cindy ran the Senior Center in Paducah, where she volunteered a great deal of her time. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Cindy loved to make sure her family was well cared for and treated right.
Cindy is survived by a daughter, Claire Page Neihoff (Cindy) of Paducah; two sons, Craig Crosby of Paducah and Johnny Rodgers of Nashville, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Alex Neihoff, Blake Rodgers, Logan Cosby (Vania Cornwell), Abby (TJ) Andrade, Rylan Cosby, and Ashton Rodgers; three great-grandchildren, Calleigh Chamberlain, Lucas Cosby, and Emberly Cosby; and her second husband, Randy Gardner of Franklin, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Kay Wolfe; her parents, Jesse Craig and Carolyn Steinbeck Ford; her first husband, Mike Cosby; and her third husband, Rocky Rodgers.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Monday, May 18, 2026, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Bardwell.
