Dale E. Brewer, 85, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on October 17, 2025. Born on September 21, 1940, in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, Dale was the bedrock of his family.
He was a member of the 32nd Street Church of Christ in Paducah, where his faith and values shone through his life of service. Dale was a devoted and loving husband for 61 years, known for his playful humor, and steadfast dedication to those he loved.
Dale served honorably in the United States Army before returning home to Paducah, where he received his bachelor’s degree. A master electrician by trade, Dale began his career at Paducah Power System and later became self-employed, building a respected business grounded in quality workmanship and integrity which earned the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike. Throughout his career, Dale took great pride in his craft and was recognized as an outstanding teacher who trained dozens of young people as they entered the electrical field.
For all who knew him, Dale leaves behind a legacy of hard work, wisdom, and unconditional love. His laughter and life lessons will continue to echo in the hearts of those he touched.
Dale is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Stovall Brewer; two brothers, Chester Brewer of Alabama and Doug Brewer of Louisville; two grandchildren, Adeline Brewer and Annelyse Ridenour, both of West Paducah; one daughter-in-law, Lisa Brewer-Ridenour of West Paducah; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee Brewer and Lillian Elise Robinson Brewer; two sons, Gregory Dale Brewer and Bradley Glenn Brewer; and three brothers, Bill Brewer, Don Brewer, and Mike Brewer.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 5 to 7 P.M. at the Milner and Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Paducah.
A memorial service will take place at the 32nd Street Church of Christ on October 25, 2025 at 1 P.M. with Glenn Seaton officiating.
