Daniel Cunningham

Daniel Cunningham, 65, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 2:45 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center at Mercy Health Lourdes. 

He was born on October 3, 1957 in Ashland, Ohio. Daniel was retired from T.V.A. where he was Senior Instrument Mechanic and Instructor. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. Daniel enjoyed fishing, riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle but what he enjoyed most was loving his granddaughters.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Cathy Thompson Cunningham; daughter, Jessica Wells and husband, Allan, of Lakeland, Florida; son, Jared Cunningham and wife Kyllan, of Hickory, Kentucky; parents, Leroy and Mary Richards Cunningham of Mayfield, Kentucky; two sisters, Peggy Tarver and husband, Robert, and Carol Rushing and husband, Mike, all of Clinton, Kentucky; five granddaughters, Lauren Wells, Angela Wells, Victoria Cunningham, Evelyn Cunningham and Amelia Cunningham; uncle, Doss Cunningham of Wingo, Kentucky and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Harp officiating. Burial will military honors will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
