David “Boo” Ferguson, 65, of Arlington, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025. He was born in Clinton, Kentucky, on December 24, 1959, to the late Charles and Linda Ferguson.
For 40 years, Boo dedicated his work life to Cannon Farms, where he was not just an employee, but he quickly became a cherished member of the family. Boo never shied away from expressing his opinions. He always spoke his mind, but his infectious laugh and the spark of mischief in his eyes were traits that made him so lovable to anyone who knew him.
Outside of work, he found joy and freedom in riding his side-by-side through the river bottoms, and he thrived in the company of his friends. Boo's heart always belonged to the people in his life, especially children, and he would do anything he could to make them smile.
Boo is survived by his two sisters, Kathy Housman, of Arlington, and Velma (Kenneth) Weaks, of Arlington; nephews, Mark Housman, Josh Harris, Andrew Weaks, and Robert Peeler; close friends, Cindy Cannon, of Arlington, Jenna Cannon, and Amanda Warren; and several great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Eddie Ferguson; friend, Charlie Cannon; great-great niece, Amelia McGee, and his parents.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington.
A private graveside service will be held for the family.
