Deborah Kay (Horn) DeBaun, 63, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
She was born on May 16, 1963, in Paducah, Kentucky, and from the beginning, Deborah carried with her a warm spirit, a kind heart, and a genuine desire to care for others. Deborah graduated from Reidland High School with honors, a reflection of her dedication and determination. She continued her education by attending Nursing School at WKCTC in the 1980s, where she pursued a path that matched her natural instinct to help others. Throughout her life, Deborah found joy in Country music, a love that brought comfort, memories, and happiness to her days.
Deborah is survived by two sisters, Jana Braswell and Ashley (Eric) Lynch, both of Paducah, Kentucky; two nieces, Adrien Braswell and Savannah Sutton; a nephew, Sam Lynch; two great nieces, Piper and Lyric; and a great nephew, Khe’Mari.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis DeBaun, and her parents, Jerry and Peggy Horn.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Pastor Jonathan Goodman officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Paducah.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the service hour of 1:00 PM, Friday, May 29, 2026, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
