Dennis Lee Rose

Dennis Lee Rose, 77, of Lone Oak, Kentucky passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026.

Dennis was born on February 28, 1948, in Paducah, Kentucky. He graduated from Paducah Tilghman High School and from Western Kentucky University. Dennis proudly served his country for eight years in the United States Army, where he was a Captain, and he served in Vietnam. He worked for the United States Army in Washington, D.C., and Germany with the Communications and Electronics Command. Dennis was an avid golfer and loved to go on golfing trips. Dennis achieved the honor of Life Master in Bridge and the distinction of Grand Master Bridge Player and Treasurer of the Paducah Duplicate Bridge Club.

Dennis is survived by two brothers, David (Debbie) Rose Jr. of Lansing, Kansas, and Duane (Jennifer) Rose of Lone Oak, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David Rose Sr. and Leola Williamson Rose; a brother, Kenneth Rose.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Bro. John Smithmeyer officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the service hour of 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
