Doris Lynn, 79, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Mills Health and Rehabilitation in Mayfield, Kentucky. She was born in Paducah on December 13, 1946, to the late Edmund Clark and Thelma Antionette Andrecht Clark. Doris was retired from Comcast Cable Company, where she served as Office Manager. She was a devoted supporter of the Salvation Army, especially at Christmas when she would buy gifts for children off the Angel Tree. Doris had a passion for bowling, and golf was second. She had a love for music and enjoyed Square Dancing. Doris loved her little dog, which brought her great joy and comfort. She was of the Baptist faith.
Doris is survived by her sister, Barbara June Gross of Kevil, Kentucky, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lynn; sister, Thelma Jean Hicks; four brothers, Edwin Clark, Emmett Clark, Joe Clark, Paul Clark; and her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2026, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Mr. Danny Orazine officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
