Eddie Hunt

Eddie Hunt, age 89, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 2:46 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2024 at Parkview Nursing & Rehab Center.

Eddie was born on September 29, 1934 to the late Authur and Edna Hunt.  He was a graduate of Lone Oak High School and a retired fireman with the City of Paducah.  Eddie was veteran of the U.S. Army.  He enjoyed tractors and boats.  Eddie and Shirley became snow birds for the past few years spending winter months in Florida.

Survivors include wife of 67 years, Shirley Rollins Hunt; one daughter, Karen Hunt of Sarasota, Florida; one son, Kenny (Jennifer) Hunt of Paducah; one sister, Rosemary Kloss of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Preceding in death were his parents; two sisters, Joyce Fredrick and Beverly Walker.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2024 At Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Jennifer Hunt officiating.  Military honors will be conducted by the U.S. Army.

There will be no public visitation.
