Elijah Charles O'Connor, 42, of Bardwell, Kentucky, passed away on June 16, 2025, in Ledbetter, KY. Elijah, a vibrant soul known for his humor and encompassing love for his family, was born on October 22, 1982, in Chicago, Illinois.
As a loving father and brother, Elijah's life revolved around the well-being and happiness of his children. A man who embraced life's simplicities, he found immense pleasure in the laughter and company of his family, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones.
Elijah's charm and humor were as boundless as his capacity for love. Known for being funny and goofy, he had a rare talent for lighting up any room with his infectious smile and clever jokes. His presence was a source of comfort and entertainment, making him a memorable figure in the hearts of all who knew him.
Elijah is survived by his daughters, Trinity O’Connor (Mother- Kim), of Clinton, Kentucky, Story O’Connor (Mother-Shannon), of Mayfield, Kentucky, and Amera O’Connor (Mother- Katelin), of Paducah, Kentucky; sons Steven Forgey (Mother- Cassandra) of Brookport, Illinois, Elias O’Connor (Mother- Katelin), of Paducah, Kentucky, Dominic O’Connor (Mother- Faith), of Lynchburg, Virginia, Daries O’Connor (Mother- Faith), of Arlington, Kentucky, and Damien O’Connor (Mother- Faith), of Benton; a sister, Tammy (Tommy) Varkalis, of Chicago, Illinois; one brother, Benjamin (Caitlin) O’Connor, of Cunningham; and two grandchildren, Revelation and Revenant Taylor.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Magdalene Dawne O’Connor, and his sister, Edra Green.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, June 23, 2025, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Bardwell.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the service hour of 1:00 PM on Monday, June 23, 2025, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Bardwell.
