Frankie Raboin

Frankie Raboin, 99, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 2:44 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Metropolis, Illinois. 

She was born on April 30, 1927, in Chariton, Iowa, to the late Franklin Elrod and Elizabeth Doolin Elrod. Frankie was a retired Telephone Operator for the Bell Telephone Company. She attended Massac Methodist Church and worked with the Lions Club, testing children’s eyesight. Frankie enjoyed playing golf, hiking in the woods, and boating on the lake.

She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Ellen Dodds, and husband, Donald, of Paducah, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Matthew Dodds and wife, Christy, of Louisville, Kentucky, and Cory Dodds of Orlando, Florida; two great-grandchildren, Dylan Dodds and Cruz Dodds; and sister, Helen Danko of Merrillville, Indiana, and several nieces and nephews.

Frankie was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Elmore Raboin; sisters, Josephine Miazga, Evelyn Blanchard, and Flora Belle Tuttle; and her parents.

Memorial services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the Massac Methodist Church with Rev. John Smithmier officiating. Private burial will be held at Massac Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church.
