Gary Wayne Kelley, born September 14, 1950, in Paducah, Kentucky, passed away September 24th at 5:15 p.m., leaving behind a legacy of strength, devotion, compassion, and love for his family.
 
Gary was a proud Vietnam veteran who carried the values of service, discipline, perseverance, and commitment throughout his life. He worked proudly as a contractor alongside his father, where they created a legacy that remained an important part of Gary's life.
 
Gary was known for his strength and discipline, a man of caliber and compassion, but those closest to him knew the caring and fun-loving man beneath it. He was always willing to listen and his presence gave his family an unwavering sense of safety, comfort, and security that will live on through generations to come.
 
Gary had a lifelong love of the outdoors; especially hunting, the mountains, and the beauty of Montana. Nature brought him peace and freedom, and many cherished memories were made in the places he loved.
 
Gary is preceded by his father, Robert D., and survived by his mother, Eva; his daughters, Michelle, Heather, and Kaitlyn; his grandchildren, Sophia, Kimber, and Rett; and his sister, Cathy.
 
Gary will be remembered for his service to his country, his dedication to his work, his love of the outdoors, and most of all, his devotion to his family.
 
His life was his legacy, and his love was his gift. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at Bald Knob Cemetery in Kevil, Kentucky.
 
Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the service hour of 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at Bald Knob Cemetery in Kevil, Kentucky.
 
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of Donations in tribute to Gary's memory to the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center, 1530 Lone Oak Rd., Paducah, Kentucky 42003.
