Giles L. Robinson, 87, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. He was born on July 15, 1939, in Oxford, Mississippi.
Giles was a faithful member of Reidland United Methodist Church and was a man who valued his faith, family, and the simple joys of life. He retired from the United States Department of Agriculture, where he worked as an auditor. In his free time, Giles enjoyed traveling and especially looked forward to taking cruises and seeing new places. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and spending time outdoors. Giles will be remembered for his kind spirit, his love of traveling, and the many memories he made throughout his life. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Giles is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Marcie Murray Robinson of Paducah, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Giles L. Robinson Sr. and Evelyn Sigmund Robinson.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Reidland United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the service hour of 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Reidland United Methodist Church.
