Glenn E. Davis, 78, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on November 23, 2025, at Stonecreek Health and Rehabilitation Center in Paducah.
Glenn was born on February 23, 1947, in Paducah to the late Ossie J. Davis and Erma R. Mathis Davis. A 1966 graduate of Lone Oak High School, Glenn went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Army. During his years of service, he formed lasting friendships and carried a deep sense of duty that stayed with him throughout his life. He received his honorable discharge on November 29, 1972.
In 1970, Glenn began his long and dedicated career at Millwork Products Manufacturer in Paducah, where he later retired. Known for his strong work ethic and willingness to help others, he was respected by coworkers and friends alike. Glenn also served his community through his involvement with the Ledbetter Fire Department and his work as a part-time deputy with the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department. He was a proud member of the American Bikers Association Toward Education (A.B.A.T.E.) and the Bikers Against Child Abuse (B.A.C.A.).
Glenn had many passions that brought him joy. He loved model trains and maintained a museum-like collection that showcased a variety of styles. He also enjoyed woodworking and motorcycles, hobbies that reflected both his creativity and his adventurous spirit.
He was a longtime member of the Central Church of Christ.
Above all, Glenn cherished his family. He is survived by his devoted long-term companion of 15 years, Laura Middleton of Ledbetter, Kentucky; his son, Scott Davis of Lexington, Kentucky; his daughter, Jessica McDowell of Princeton, Indiana; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren, who brought him immense joy.
He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Davis.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025, at 12 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Ledbetter, Kentucky.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
