Hilda Wright

Hilda Wright, 90, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 1:27 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Providence Pointe.

She was born on June 3, 1935, in Salem, Kentucky. Hilda retired from Bell South Telephone Company as a Directory Assistant. She was a member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church and the Telephone Pioneers. Hilda graduated from Salem High School.
 
She is survived by her granddaughter, Kelsee Henson of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; her caregiver, Bill Shannon and caregiver, Wanda McIntosh, nephew, Thomas Powell, and several cousins.
 
Hilda was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Norwood Wright; daughter, Kimberly “Kim” A. Henson; mother and step-father, Beatrice Doyle Kirk Powell, and Morris Powell; father, Lossie Ray Kirk; brother, Emmett Powell, and a special cousin, Patty Shannon.
 
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Bob Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Kenton Cemetery.
 
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
