Jackie Ray Harris, 84, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on May 1, 2026, at The Holiday Senior Living in Paducah.
Jackie was born on June 16, 1941, in Paducah, Kentucky, to the late Archie Alonzo Harris and Margaret Louise Record Harris.
Jackie was a former Golden Gloves boxing champion and retired as a Production Supervisor from Air Products after many years of service. He enjoyed cycling, hiking, traveling, bowling, and spending time with family and friends. Jackie proudly bowled a perfect game during his years in the bowling league. He later earned his captain’s license and purchased a sailboat named Always Saturday, where he and his wife enjoyed living for ten years. Jackie was known for his fun-loving personality and hardworking nature.
He is survived by his son, Tony Harris of Paducah, Kentucky; daughter, Paula Viniard of North Carolina; grandchildren, Amanda Harris, Mathew Dobson, Cassie Gott, Andrew Dobson, and Little Tony Harris; and niece, Renee Meeks.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Elsie Faye Hill Harris, and his sister, Peggy Jo Harris Wood.
Per the family’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.
