Jacqueline "Jackie" Powell

Jacqueline "Jackie" Powell, 90 of Wickliffe, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2025, in Destin, Florida. She was born on November 7, 1934, in Barlow, Kentucky, to the late Armon Willharbor and Irma Hargrove.

Jackie spent her professional years as the beloved Lunchroom Manager at LaCenter Pre-School, where she touched the lives of countless children and staff with her caring demeanor and infectious smile. Jackie also worked at the Deena Products Company in Wickliffe. Jackie was the oldest member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church. Jackie's devotion was unwavering. She found great joy in her faith and the fellowship of her church community.

Family was the cornerstone of Jackie's life. She relished spending time with her loved ones, creating memories that they will hold dear for a lifetime. Her laughter was a familiar and comforting sound at family gatherings, and her ability to make each family member feel special was one of her most remarkable gifts. Jackie's love for travel and the beach was well-known among her friends and family.
 
Jackie is survived by her daughter, Donna Powell (Jerry) Daniel of Wickliffe and her son, Phillip Anthony (Laurie) Powell of Wickliffe; her two grandchildren, Tom Sullivan of Lebanon, KY and Keaton (Samantha) Powell of Lone Oak, KY; her four great-grandchildren, Emma Sullivan, Piper Sullivan, Mason Sullivan and Hood Powell along with several special nieces and nephew.
 
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Armon Willharbor and Irma Hargrove; her husband of 61 years, Thomas Hayes Powell; and a granddaughter-in-law, Courtney Sullivan.
 
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, September 15, 2025, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe with Rev. Fred Freeman officiating.  Burial will follow at Wickliffe Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 3:00-8:00 PM Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe.
