James Lindle Alvey, 90, of Kevil, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Mercy Health-Lourdes.
James was born on September 6, 1935, to the late James Mirril Alvey and Lorena Ivey Alvey in Paducah. James worked in auto sales and was of the Baptist faith.
James is survived by his wife, Sharon Pisciotta Alvey; three sons, Shane Alvey of Knoxville, Tennessee, Travis Alvey, and Casey Alvey, both of Kevil, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Shane Alvey Jr., Shaney Carlson, Andrew Alvey, Alex Alvey, Anthony Alvey, and Aaron Alvey; six great-grandchildren, Poppy, Porter, Penelope, Alexavier, Hazel, and Ellagrace; a sister, Gloria Lee of Coos Bay, Oregon.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Ludene Salas; a brother, Densel Dwayne Alvey; and his parents.
There will be no services.
