Jamie Renee Deweese, 62, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 17, 2026, in Princeton, Kentucky.
She was born on November 16, 1963, in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Jamie was a very intelligent and loving woman who cherished her family dearly. She had a special love for Elvis Presley and had been looking forward to a trip to Graceland, a dream she unfortunately never got to fulfill. Jamie was also a devoted dog lover, with a particularly special bond with her beloved dog, Lilly. Her family, her love for animals, and the simple things that brought her joy will be remembered by all who knew and loved her. Jamie will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her memory and the love she shared with those around her will live on in their hearts. Jamie was also an avid University of Kentucky Basketball fan. She enjoyed being able to watch them with her sister or call her after a game and talk about how they played.
Jamie is survived by a sister, Kim (Jon) Eaton of Princeton, Kentucky; a niece, Heather (Dustin) Walker; a nephew, Keith (Gabbi) Jones; two great-nieces, Natalie Jones and Khloe Walker; and two great-nephews, Kyle Loyd and Knox Walker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Chester and Carolyn Faye Morris Deweese.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, August 24, 2026, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah, with Whitey Elliott officiating. Burial will follow at Cunningham Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the service hour of 12:00 PM on Monday, August 24, 2026, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
