Janet Ruth Heflin Duncan, 76, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2026, at her residence. She was born on October 3, 1949, in Paducah. Janet worked for the International Shoe Factory and retired from H & H Truck Service as a Secretary.
She is survived by her stepbrother, Daniel Fleming, and his wife, Sandy of Kevil, Kentucky; several grandchildren; and special friends, Evelyn, Sandy, and Johnny Lee Hammonds.
Janet was preceded in death by her son, Scott Edward Heflin; brother, Michael Vaughn; father, B. L. Vaughn; her mother, Dora Darnell Fleming; and her stepfather, John Fleming.
Private graveside services will be held at the Fairdealing Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
