Jean E. Hayden, 88, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024 at Mercy Health - Lourdes.
Ms. Hayden was born on February 12, 1936 in Hickory, Kentucky to the late, Jasper and Mary Ethel Dossett Thomas. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church and worked in Dietary at Paducah Head Start, Western Baptist Hospital and Parkview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Jean is survived by a daughter, Donna Henderson and her husband, Kerry of Paducah; a grandson, Matthew Ray Henderson; and a sister, Wanda Faye Baldridge of Paducah.
Besides her parents, Jean was preceded in death by a son, Donald Ray Thomas; and a sister, Frances Inman.
A funeral mass will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Clark officiating. Burial will held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at St. Jerome Catholic Church Cemetery in Fancy Farm, Kentucky.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the service hour of 12:00 pm on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.
