Jeanette Blaine Jones, 69, of La Center, Kentucky, passed away at Massac Memorial Hospital on January 21, 2026. Jeanette was born on January 14, 1957, to the late Alvadia and Mary Blaine.
A faithful servant of the Lord, Jeanette was a devoted member of New Covenant Community Church, where she sang in the choir, helped wherever needed, and never failed to testify of the goodness of God. Her faith was sincere and humble, and her love for the Lord was evident in all she did.
Jeanette enjoyed simple joys, including shopping at His House Ministries and spending meaningful time with her family, whom she loved deeply and fiercely. Family meant everything to her, and she poured her heart into those she loved, always making sure they knew it.
While Jeanette was known for her kind spirit and servant’s heart, she also had a legendary spark. Those who knew her best would say that if pushed far enough, Jeanette could “fight a circle saw” — a humorous testament to her strength and grit.
Jeanette’s life was marked by faith, love, and an unshakable spirit. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by her family, her church family, and all who were blessed to know her.
Jeanette is survived by her two sons, Donald Stephen Busby of Barlow, Kentucky, and Michael Adams of Barlow; one sister, Elizabeth Hacker of Bardwell; six grandchildren, Colton Busby, Caprice Busby, Amanda Carter, Sawyer Dale Adams, Josh Nalley, and Abbi Nalley; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Donnie Busby; her second husband, Anthony Jones; her infant twin sister, Julie Blaine; and her parents.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe with Bro. Dee Hazelwood officiating.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the service time of 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe.
