Juanita Blair, age 83, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 6:05 P.M. Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Providence Pointe Healthcare.
Juanita was born in Golconda, Illinois on Friday, February 14, 1941, to Robert and Mary Cheek. Juanita loved her dogs Tiny and Daisy. She also loved playing games like Bingo, Bowling, and Whack-A-Mole. Juanita was a very affectionate person and showed love to everyone, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids. She never met a stranger and would help anyone in need.
Mrs. Blair is survived by her daughters, Ramona Shepherd, Rosie Meredith (Lewis), and Dorothy “Dot” Hatton (Chris), both of Paducah, Kentucky, and Jennifer Rosado (Benjamin) of Richmond, Virginia; her sons, Danny Blair (Diane) and Tommy Blair, both of Paducah, Kentucky, Jack Jacoby and Bendee Smith (Venetia), all of San Angelo, Texas; twenty-four grandchildren; and twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Blair was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Norman Blair; her parents, Robert Cheek and Mary L. Gann Cheek; her sister, Mary Lambert; and her brothers, George and Bobby Cheek; two sons, Micky Blair and Donnie Blair; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Justin Mason officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at the funeral home.
