Julie Ann (Webber) Hayes passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital, surrounded by the love of those who meant the most to her. Julie was born on August 17, 1987, in Dearborn, Michigan.

Julie had an outgoing, strong-willed spirit and was known for her blunt honesty. With her thick skin, quick wit, and unforgettable personality, she had a way of leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met. She was the kind of friend who never let those she loved face life alone - always showing up, no questions asked.

Above all, Julie was a devoted mother. She was her boys’ biggest fan, fiercest protector, and their safest place all in one. Her whole world revolved around them, and she loved them fiercely while guiding them every step of the way.

Julie worked as a Certified Surgical Technician at Lourdes Hospital beginning in the summer of 2018. Being an orthopedic technician came naturally to her. She not only excelled in her work, but her fiery personality also brought energy, laughter, and entertainment to those around her. Assisting with total joint replacement surgeries for Dr. Deweese was her absolute favorite - a challenge she embraced headstrong and with confidence.

Family meant everything to Julie. She always placed her loved ones first and treasured the time spent together. Her love for animals was equally strong and could hardly be overstated. Her dog, Moose, and her cat, Logan, were constant companions who received endless affection and attention.

Julie is survived by her husband, Jacob Hayes of Paducah, Kentucky; her parents, Tony Webber and Beverly Boren Webber of Benton, Kentucky; her sons, Collin Surerus, Nate Hayes, Nick Surerus, and Ronin Hayes of Paducah, Kentucky; her brothers, Justin (Pearl) Webber of Benton, Kentucky, and Jeremy (Kim) Webber of Benton, Kentucky; her nephews, Luke Webber, Ethan Webber, and Ryder Webber of Benton, Kentucky; and her niece, Mia Webber of Benton, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Jack Kee officiating. Burial will follow at Union Ridge Cemetery in Benton, Kentucky.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour of 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 9, 2026, at the funeral home.
