Kathy Jean Dalton Dennis, age 65, of Wickliffe, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Mercy Health Lourdes in Paducah.
Kathy was born in Cairo, Illinois, on June 8, 1958, to the late Thomas Dalton and James and Jean Campbell. She was of the Baptist faith. Kathy loved to cook and take care of her family. She was known for her fried chicken and for making the most perfect fried eggs for her grandchildren. Kathy loved to be outdoors, especially during the spring when her flowers were blooming in the garden.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Ricky Dean Dennis; daughter, Joni Poole of Wickliffe; son, Ricky Dennis, Jr. of Wickliffe; her “bonus” daughter, Crystal Goodrich; her sister, Kristin (Will) Wilson, of Wickliffe; three brothers, Stephen Paul Dalton, of Wickliffe, James Aaron Campbell, of Barlow, and Tommy (Connie) Dalton, of Barlow; six grandchildren, Logan Crabtree, Michial Goodrich, Emily Poole, Katie Wilson, Hannah Wilson and Ricky Dean Dennis, III.
She was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather James Campbell.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe with Bro. Larry Fraser officiating.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the service time of 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at the funeral home.
