Larry Bagwell

Larry Bagwell, age 83, of Gilbertsville, Kentucky, and formerly of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away Monday, May 12, 2025.
 
Larry was born on November 8, 1941, to Dalton Andrew Bagwell and Jeanette Thompson Bagwell. Larry grew up attending Massac Methodist Church and graduated from Lone Oak High School in 1959.  Larry was a retired electrician from Honeywell, where he was a member of IBEW Local 816 and had received his 60-year IBEW pin.  After moving to the lake, he attended Briensburg Methodist Church and East Marshall Baptist Church.
 
Larry’s hobbies included fishing, playing golf, and playing cards.  He loved quality time with grandchildren and family being around. He enjoyed his many trips to Florida.
 
Survivors include triplet grandchildren, Dalton (Laken) Bagwell, Landyn Bagwell, and fiancé Will Rose, and Janelyn Bagwell; one great-granddaughter, Wrenlee Bagwell; one sister, Janet (Bill) Sims; one brother, Phillip (Sandra) Bagwell; several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and beloved friend, Rustin Egner.
 
Preceding in death were his wife, Sandy Warford Bagwell; one son, Mark Bagwell;  and his parents.
 
Services will be held Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel, Milner & Orr Funeral Home, with Revs. Bill Shoulta and Bill Lawson officiating.  Burial will follow at Mt. Kenton Cemetery in Lone Oak.  Visitation will be held Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until service time of 1:00 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
