Larry Earl Biles, Sr., age 73, of West Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023, at Continue Care at Baptist Health in Paducah.
Larry was born in Minter City, Mississippi on June 27, 1950. He was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church and was a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School. Larry worked as a machinist for Caterpillar Tractor Company for 30 years until retirement and was an Army veteran who served his country during the Vietnam War. He was very family oriented and loved children and animals. Larry never missed a Golden State Warriors basketball game, as they were his all-time favorite team.
Larry is survived by his wife of 54 years, Audrey Blanton Biles; his son, Larry Earl Biles Jr. (Angela Willits Biles) of Austin, Texas; two brothers, John Biles (Shawanna) of Paducah, Wayne Biles of Aurora, IL; one sister, Mable Horice of Aurora, IL; sister-in-law, June Jackson; four grandchildren, Elias Earl Biles, Nathaniel Louis Hamilton, Darius Willits, Tavian Willits, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lucille Biles; two sisters, Dora Phillips and Yolanda Biles.
A private family service has been scheduled.
