Larry Wayne Reeves, 77, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 10:25 p.m. Thursday, August 14, 2025 at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center at Mercy Health Lourdes. He was born in Kennett, Missouri on January 8, 1948 to the late Cleve Reeves and Gladys Jackson Reeves. Larry retired from Honeywell International, Inc. where he worked as a Foreman. He was a member of Heartland Church. Larry graduated from Heath High School where he played baseball and basketball, he received his Bachelor’s Degree from Murray State University. He served six years in the United States Navy. Larry was a skilled woodworker, enjoyed cooking and watching University of Kentucky Wildcats.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Benton Reeves; daughter, Dana Pagell; sons, Mitch Dawson, Brian (Marlena) Wyatt of Paducah, Kentucky and Mark (Leslie) Wyatt of Semi Valley, California; sister, Janet McBride; brothers, Randy Reeves and Joe Reeves; five grandchildren, Leilani Leatherman, Kate Kimble Wyatt, Caroline Leatherman, Sadie Wyatt, Ronan Wyatt and several nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his sister, Cheryl Hildreth and his parents.
