Dianne Cella, age 79, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville. She was born on August 26, 1946, in Cairo, Illinois, to James Ray Cella and Laura May Rabey Cella.
Dianne was a vibrant, strong, and unforgettable woman whose presence lit up every room she entered. Known for her radiant smile and her loud, joyful belly laugh, she brought warmth and happiness to all who knew her.
A gifted artist, Dianne worked with ceramics, watercolors, and oils, creating pieces that reflected her creativity and passion. Her decorating skills were unmatched-she had the rare ability to make anything look extraordinary. Beyond her artistry, she was a remarkable cook and seamstress, lovingly preparing meals and even making clothes for her family.
Dianne embodied strength and independence, teaching her children the values of humility and unconditional love. Though her family had little in material wealth, she ensured they never felt lacking-her love and resourcefulness made everything better.
Professionally, Dianne dedicated many years to Teleservice before joining Western Baptist Hospital. There, she served as a phlebotomist and later as an EEG technician in the neurodiagnostic department, where her compassion and skill touched countless lives.
Dianne’s legacy is one of love, resilience, creativity, and laughter. She will be remembered not only for her talents but for the way she made life richer and brighter for everyone around her.
Dianne is survived by two daughters, Angela Harris (Doug) of Naples, Florida, Kim Cobb (Dale) of West Paducah; one son, Jason Jackson of Paducah; one sister, Libbye Summers (Billy) of Wickliffe; one brother, Tony Cella (Phyllis) of Cordele, Georgia; three nieces, Ashely Jordan of Paducah, Theresa Murr of Orange Park, Florida, Audra Summers of Paducah; two nephews, Tony Cella of Phoenix, Arizona, Chris Cella of Pasadena, California; 7 grandchildren, Derek Harris (Sherry) of West Paducah, West Harris (Becky) of Versailles, Kentucky, Darla Mann (Fred) of Owingsville, Kentucky, Brittany Myers (Tyler) of Lexington, Kentucky, Audrey Stoerger (Chad) of Paducah, Bailey Jackson (Raquel) of Paducah, Brandon Jackson of Paducah; 18 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
