Laura Hayden, 62, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Baptist Health Paducah.

Born on January 6, 1963, in Alton, Illinois, Laura's life journey was a testament to her boundless love for people, animals, and the countless passions that colored her world. Laura's smile was a source of warmth and comfort to all who knew her. Her presence could effortlessly transform the atmosphere of any gathering, making her an unforgettable addition to the lives of her family and friends. Her honesty and sincerity in her interactions cultivated a legacy of love and trust that will endure in the hearts of those she touched. As a devoted friend to all creatures great and small, Laura dedicated countless hours to caring for animals in need. Laura was known for being an amazing baker with some of her creations. She had the gift of being crafty and being able to make something out of nothing. Laura's whole world was her family and friends, whom she cherished above all. The bonds she built were fortified by mutual respect, laughter, and unconditional love.

Laura is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Chuck Hayden of Hickory, Kentucky; her mother, Janice Duff Strack; two daughters, Lacey (Chris) Feezor of South Boston, Virginia and Ashley (Ben) Cocke of Shelbyville, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Lucas Aderholdt, Kensi Cocke, Bentley Feezor, Logan Feezor, and Tally Beth Feezor; two brothers, Tom Strack Jr. of Eddyville, Kentucky and Greg (Michelle) Strack of Sharpe, Kentucky; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Strack Sr.; and a daughter, Amber Nicole Hayden.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Bro. Rob Ison officiating.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the service hour of 1:00 PM Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
