Lee Cathey, 75, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at the Linda White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana. He was born in Paducah on April 4, 1950, to the late William Chester Cathey and Emma Louise Duncan Cathey. Lee was a retired truck driver and worked for Goodwin Farms. He was a member of the Highland Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the Grahamville Masonic Lodge #707 F&AM. Lee enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be remembered for his great sense of humor and for always having a comical story to tell.
He is survived by his two sisters, Karen (Mike) Bryan and Lisa (Jeff) Parker, all of Paducah, Kentucky; niece and nephews, Ashlee Bryan Poat, Kyle Cooper, Brandon Cooper, Tyler Parker, Tanner Parker, and Jason Howell; his companion, Sharon May and several great nieces and nephews.
Lee was preceded in death by his son, Trevor Cathey, and his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Bud Russell and Jeff Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
