Leon Conway JR

Howard Leon Conway, Jr. age 73, of Kevil, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024. Leon was born on August 8, 1950, to the late Howard Leon Conway, Sr. and Gwendolyn Ruth Conway.
 
Leon was a 1969 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School. A veteran of the United States Navy, Leon was a Paducah firefighter for 19 years. In retirement, Leon enjoyed his time at Guessway Farms in Tiline, Kentucky, where he and Yvonne spent many
hours clearing trails and adding street signs for fun. An avid University of Kentucky Basketball fan, he and Yvonne would always cheer on the Cats.
 
Leon is survived by Yvonne Guess Conway, his wife of 46 years; his daughter Dr. Audrey Conway (Thomas) Roberts of Waterville, Ohio; sister, Vickye (Chuck) Truman; nephew, Scott (Pennie) Brian; great nephew Hunter Brian; “son”, Heath Newell; and several close friends.
 
Funeral services are scheduled for  1:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Tommy Tucker officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery with Rev. Chad Logan officiating.
 
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
