Lillian Grace Spears, age 25, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away surrounded by her family on October 30, 2026, at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.

Lily was born on June 15, 2001, in Paducah, Kentucky, to David and Christy Spears.  She attended Heartland Church in Paducah.

Lily lived a beautifully bright life. She was her parents’ miracle, and her family treasured all 25 wonderful years they were blessed to share with her. Though she was not expected to make it past her first birthday, God graciously gave her a lifetime of love, joy, and unforgettable moments.

Lily adored hot air balloons, watching videos of them, and attending festivals where she could enjoy their beauty. She also loved sea turtles, especially when her dad would talk like “Crush” the sea turtle from “Finding Nemo”, which always brought her joy.  She enjoyed going for walks, riding on her golf cart and going to Chuck E. Cheese. Lilly also loved Veggie Tales and always carried an Archie the asparagus, (more affectionately known as Mr. Green, or Green Man) in her hand everywhere she went.

Lily also enjoyed horseback riding for a time through Hippotherapy, an experience that brought her happiness and comfort. Music was another great love in her life, and she especially enjoyed “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong. One of the most special parts of her days was the special friend and school aide who sang to her and sounded just like Louis Armstrong, creating moments that were both tender and memorable. Lily’s infectious smile had a way of lighting up every room she entered, and her presence brought warmth and happiness to everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Lily is survived by her parents, David and Christy Spears, of Paducah; four sisters, Kinsey Spears of Paducah, Sara (Bobby Joe) Crabtree of Kevil, Kelsey Spears of Murray, and Kaya Spears of Owensboro; three brothers, Darrin Spears of Paducah, Keaton Spears of Paducah, and Kasey Spears of Barbourville, Kentucky; Grandparents Dianne Spears and Norman Scheer; three uncles, Jamey Spears, Tim (Cynthia) Spears, and Jimmy Sharp; an aunt, Anita (Bill) Haines; two nieces, Piper Jo Crabtree and Anna Lee Crabtree; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Wayne Spears, and a nephew, Oliver Finn Spears.

Funeral services for Lily will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah, with Rev. Nathan Joyce and Rev. Bryan Phelps officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the service time of 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at the funeral home.
