LouElla Amis Pace, age 89, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, September, 24, 2022 at Baptist Health of Paducah.
LouElla, was born in Paducah on February 5, 1933 to the late, Pearl Gus and Gertie Fletcher Amis. She worked as a homemaker and as a retail clerk for Walmart. She was the oldest member of Destiny Church. She loved to sing gospel music and was part of the groups, Basic 4 and Believer’s Faith Praisers.
She loved her family, cooking, taking care and spoiling her grandchildren. She loved God and serving Him and was anxious for her heavenly home.
Mrs. Pace is survived by her two daughters, Kim Pace and Marlinda Mathis, both of Paducah; five grandchildren, Tara Woods, John Pace, Courtney Trinidad, Ashley Harmon, and Brent Burgess; and eleven great grandchildren, Ty Woods, Caitlyn Chandler, Casie Chandler, Caylee Chandler, Cameron Burgess, Connor Burgess, Caden Burgess, Lily Jane Pace, Eli Ursini, Abbygayle Burgess, and Crew Harmon.
Mrs. Pace was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 63 years, Bobbie Neal Pace Sr., a son, Bobbie Neal Pace, Jr.; her six brothers, Hugh Amis, Admiral Amis, Irvin Amis, Roy Amis, James Amis and Charles Amis; five sisters, Gracie Amis Stewart, Quavia Amis Murphy, Mary Amis Thomas, Lucille Amis Jourdan and Margaret Amis Thurman;
A funeral is scheduled for Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. with her nephew, Don Amis and Rev. Charles Harp officiating. Burial will follow at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
