Mark K. Jarvis passed away at his residence in Paducah, Kentucky, on December 4, 2025. He was born in Paducah on May 22, 1953, at Riverside Hospital to the late Blake and Virginia Barbaud Jarvis.

Mark was a 1971 graduate of Tilghman High School. Shortly after graduating, he joined the United States Navy and served during the Vietnam War, where he was honorably discharged. After his military service, Mark attended technical school to become a pipefitter, beginning a long and successful career that he took great pride in.

Mark was a man of many interests and abilities. He later opened his own boat repair company, a venture that blended his skill with his love of the water. Scuba diving became one of his greatest joys; it was something he was truly talented at and loved sharing with others. Mark also shared a deep bond with his dog, Buddy, who was his best friend and greatest companion through many years.

Mark is survived by his three siblings, Scott (Leighann) Jarvis of Symsonia, KY; Mitchell (Cindy) Jarvis of Symsonia, KY; and Suzette Frick of Paducah, KY. He will be remembered fondly for his independence, his curiosity, and the unique talents that made him who he was.

An urn graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
