Marla Henderson Puckett, 57, of Cunningham, Kentucky, passed away at her residence on Monday, September 8, 2025.
Marla lived most of her life in the Carlisle County area, where she was loved by many. She had many professional pathways in her life, including CNA and a cook at Luke’s Truck Stop in Arlington.
Marla loved Elvis and her family. Her children and grandchildren were her whole heart, and she loved them dearly. There wasn’t a day that passed that she wasn’t thinking about each of them and how they were doing. Her children often joked that the only thing she loved more than them was her dog, Rider. Marla will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Marla is survived by her four children, Nikki (Devin) Doty, of Mayfield, Kentucky, Natasha (Ky) Kennedy, of Van Cleave, Mississippi, Chris (Christy Holland) Knight, of Mayfield, and Buck Brizendine, of Aurora, Kentucky; her uncle, Alan Woods, of Bardwell, and sixteen grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Ricky Henderson; a sister, Regina Russelburg; an uncle, David “Bear” Woods; and her parents, Larry Morgan and Barbara Henderson.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at First Christian Church in Bardwell.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the service hour of 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at First Christian Church in Bardwell.
