Melissa Styers O’Bryant, age 66, of Benton, Kentucky, passed away on August 25, 2026, at Baptist Health Paducah.
Melissa was a graduate of Reidland High School and was the owner of an auto parts store in Calvert City. She loved spending time at Kentucky Lake, her beloved cockapoo, Abbie, and enjoying Mexican food.
Those who knew Melissa will remember her as sweet, bubbly, beautiful, funny, loving, generous, and simply fun to be around. Her warm personality and joyful spirit brought happiness to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who loved her.
Melissa is survived by her significant other of 18 years, Gary Largent; two sons, Eric O’Bryant and Scott O’Bryant; her aunts, Julie Shelby, Mary Stewart, Aline Fields and Jean Hartman and uncle, Tom Styers; and her grandson, Alex O’Bryant.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Glenda Styers, and one brother, David Styers.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, August 31, 2026 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Homes with Rev. Richard Dobbs officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the 11:00 am service time at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Homes.
