Michael Linn Wyatt, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away Saturday morning, June 13th, 2026, at the age of 77.
Mike was born on October 8, 1948, in Paducah, Kentucky. A lifelong resident of Paducah, Mike built a life marked by hard work, invention, entrepreneurship, and devotion to his family.
Over the course of his career, Mike founded and operated several businesses, including Gentlemen’s Quarters, Matweld, Trackweld, Railway Technologies, Inc., Bluegrass Garden Beds, and Signature Stone Works. He also purchased and operated Hultman, Inc. A talented and driven innovator, Mike held several United States patents for hydraulic tools used in railroad construction and maintenance. And, he also served as the President for the Paducah Country Club. His work reflected both his mechanical ingenuity and his determination to build practical solutions that served an important industry.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Jan Morris Wyatt; his children, Mark Wyatt and his wife, Leslie, Brian Wyatt and his wife, Marlena, and Heather Wyatt. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Sadie, Ronan, Leilani, Kate Kimble, Caroline, Mason and her husband, Preston Frommeyer, Mikayla, and Maddyn; and his great-grandchildren, Fallon and Dani Faye.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, James Wyatt and Violet Dupree Wyatt; and his younger brother, James Ronald Wyatt.
A memorial service honoring Mike’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 19, 2026, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the service hour of 2:00 PM on Friday, June 19, 2026, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
