Pamela “Fadit” Kinder Moehlenhof

A true beauty inside and out,

And from her lips the truth did spout!!!!

She was born February 12, 1944,

To Moxene and Jack Kinder, who couldn’t have asked for more.

Her life was lived in the bootheel of Missouri,

Until she met the love of her life, Ronald Moehlenhof, in the Sigma Chi Fraternity.

A blind date arranged by his fraternity brother, who also happened to be Pam’s own baby brother.

They made a life in St. Louis, Minneapolis, and San Diego,  then left the coast…

Retiring in Paducah, to be near those she loved most.

She was both mother and grandmother, extraordinaire!

Her house is where everyone wanted to be, as it was filled with love and fun beyond compare.

From making mud pies, to climbing trees, to sneaking midnight popsicles in bed,

You could be certain, with her, there was always an adventure ahead!

She made a four-decade long career as an ICU nurse,

Described by many of her colleagues as, “THE BEST,” and, “never another like her,” in the entire universe.

SPAAAACCCCIAL was her own special word,

Of both people and things, she used it to refer!

She had a unique gift of celebrating good times and getting you through the hard,

By consistently, and faithfully, sending handwritten notes and cards.

We called her, “My Favorite,” which got shortened to, “Fadit.”

You instantly wanted to claim her as your own, even if you weren’t related.

Family first, ALWAYS, a fierce protector through and through,

The most loving and kind, but a fervent warrior too!

She literally danced through life, singing songs along the way,

And made everyday life feel like child’s play.

Always unapologetically herself, she did things her own way…

And even after getting her angel wings, she’s having the final say!

No sadness, no funeral, or waiting in line at a visitation,

Instead, she asked for laughter, sharing silly stories, and loving each other without hesitation!

She knows if she touched you and knows she was loved.

She will continue to love and guide us, only now, from above!

Pamela Moehlenhof found eternal peace on Oct. 23, 2026, surrounded by family, at Vanderbilt hospital. Waiting for her, along with our Heavenly Father, were her parents Moxene and Jack Kinder, and niece, Christy Beauchamp.

She is watching over her husband, Ronald Moehlenhof; son, Chad Moehlenhof; daughter, Heather Brown and son-in-law Michael Brown; grandson, Kyler Brown and daughter-in-law McKenna Wierman; granddaughters, McKenna, Cameron, and Kendall Brown; brother, Gary Kinder; sister, Jaxene Hillebert; niece, Beth Vezzosi; and great-nieces, Reanne Howell, Ashley Espinoza, and Cassidy Sloan.
