Phyllis Ann Hughes. 84 of Paducah passed away at 10:09 AM Friday, December 1, 2023 at her residence in Paducah.
Phyllis was born on June 16, 1939 in Paducah to Hurley & Thelma Hall Oliver.
Phyllis retired after 40+ years from Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah. She began her career at Western Baptist working with Electrocardiograms, became a Lab Aid and then a Phlebotomy Supervisor. She was a member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church, loved to travel and enjoyed spending time with her beloved dog, “Sofie”.
She is survived by a nephew, Charles “Rick” (Rosemary) Pittman & a niece, Connie (Skip) Huff both of Paducah; several nieces & nephews. several great-nieces & nephews; one great-great niece; her adopted sister, Jenny Wilson of Paducah & her adopted family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister & two brothers.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM Friday, December 8, 2023 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home in Paducah with Rev. Jeff Wallace officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah. Visitation will be from 10:00-12:00 on Friday, December 8, 2023 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home in Paducah.
