Randall Joseph Englert

Randall Joseph Englert, known to many as Randy, passed away on May 9, 2026, in Paducah, Kentucky, at the age of 67.
 
Randy was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church. Randy had a deep love for University of Kentucky basketball and followed the team with enthusiasm and pride. He also enjoyed NASCAR and the excitement that came with the sport. These interests brought him joy and gave him many opportunities to share good times and conversation with friends and loved ones. He appreciated the simple pleasures in life and found happiness in the things that brought people together. Above all else, Randy loved his family. He especially treasured his grandchildren, who brought him great joy and pride. His love for them was evident in the way he spoke of them and in the care he showed throughout his life. He also believed that his friends were his family, and he treated those close to him with the same devotion and affection that he gave to his relatives.
 
Randy is survived by a daughter, Melissa (David) Solomon of Virginia Beach, Virginia; a son, Randall Englert of Paducah, Kentucky; two brothers, Barry (Melony) Englert of Paducah and Roger (Betty) Englert of Paducah; and four grandchildren, Nolan, William, Savannah, and Olivia.
 
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Cathy Jenks and Donna Anselm; a brother, Rodney Englert; and his parents, James Herman and Mildred Johnson Englert.
 
A memorial visitation will be held from 4:30 PM until 7:00 PM on Friday, May 15, 2026, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
