Randall “Randy” Lee Scheer, 58, of Paducah, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, in Paducah. He was born on June 29, 1967, in Paducah, KY, to Norman Scheer and Janet Wickliffe Scheer.
A proud graduate of Lone Oak High School, where he developed his love for football, which was unparalleled. After high school, Randall honed his skills and became a respected electrician, a career he dedicated many years to with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 816. Randy loved being outdoors and felt most at home hiking and hunting, respecting the land and its creatures, and sharing the bounty of his pursuits with friends and family.
His collection of knives was more than a hobby; it was a testament to his appreciation for fine craftsmanship and the storied history of each piece. The roar of a motorcycle engine was music to his ears, and he spent countless hours riding. He also enjoyed spending time around the pool table with his sharp eye and steady hand. His love for military shows and movies was rooted in a deep respect for those who served.
Randy is survived by two sons, Connor Cima of Peoria, IL and Tyler Cima of Marion, IL; his father, Norman L. (Diane Spears) Scheer of Paducah; his mother, Janet (Robert) Clark of Paducah; two brothers, Brian Scheer of New Albany, IN, and Chris Scheer of Paducah along with several nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 PM on Monday, July 21, 2025, at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Lone Oak.
