Randy Gene Berkley

Randy Gene Berkley, age 66, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2025, at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center. Born on June 12, 1959, Randy was a man known for his infectious laughter, generous spirit and unwavering good mood that brightened the lives of all who knew him.

Randy retired as a dedicated driver for FedEx. He was an avid sports fan, consistently cheering on his favorite teams, the St. Louis Cardinals and UK basketball.  He loved to write poetry, was a member of the Free Gospel Church and found joy through song, singing in a gospel quartet with his family. 

Perhaps one of his most cherished roles was that of Pappaw to his grandson, Rory. Randy's legacy as a grandfather is one filled with precious memories and lessons that Rory will carry with him for a lifetime.

Randy is survived by two daughters, Kristen Summers (Philip) of Benton and Jennifer Chillemi (Vince) of Florida; his grandson, Rory Gene Summers; his niece, Tammy Crass (Dennis) of Paducah and his nephew, Justin Berkley (Sophie) of Urbana, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob Gene Berkley and JoAnn Jackson Berkley; and his brother, Rodney Berkley.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Todd Hawkins officiating.  Burial will follow at Symsonia Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday, July 28, 2025 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
